As part of its global expansion strategy, AVITA established its Korean subsidiary in Seoul in February 2026. Since then, the company has actively built its presence in the Korean market through participation in government-led collaboration programs, strategic partnerships with one of Asia’s largest cloud managed service providers, and joint proof-of-concept projects with local companies.
In addition, AVITA has been advancing initiatives in the Physical AI field by leveraging its expertise in avatar-based communication and AI technologies.
The company’s achievements in the practical deployment of avatar and AI technologies, its forward-looking initiatives in Physical AI, and its continued business development in Korea were highly evaluated, leading to the receipt of the International Innovator Award.
NextRise is Korea’s largest startup and business conference, jointly organized by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and the Korea Development Bank (KDB).
