Since October 9, 2026, a segment featuring AVITA’s avatar and AI technologies has been airing worldwide on “Tech It Out!”, a program from the U.S. news network CNN.
At AI Everything 2026 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Shogo Nishiguchi, Co-Founder, COO & CFO of AVITA, spoke about the company’s work on AI avatars and physical AI. “Avatars and robots need to coexist with people,” he said.
The segment introduces a pilot customer guidance service at Osaka Metro using a humanoid co-developed by AVITA and KDDI. In addition to developing the humanoid, AVITA is responsible for developing and implementing its communication technology and dialogue system.

It also features avatars helping customers use self-checkout in stores, a hybrid system that combines human teleoperation with AI, and live demonstrations at the exhibition.

AVITA will also exhibit at Dubai AI Festival 2026, to be held October 26–27, 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in Dubai, UAE.
AVITA will continue to support customer service and guidance across a wide range of settings with avatars, AI and humanoids, working toward a society where people, avatars and robots coexist.

AVACOM is an online customer service platform powered by AVITA’s avatar technology, generative AI, and other AI-driven capabilities.
The service supports multiple platforms and enhances customer engagement through AI-powered automation and remote (tele-operated) avatar customer service. AVACOM contributes to increasing online sales and conversions, improving inquiry-handling efficiency, reducing or eliminating on-site staffing needs at stores and reception desks, and addressing labor shortages.
Since its launch in 2022, AVACOM has already been introduced at hundreds of locations, helping organizations strengthen customer touchpoints, improve operational efficiency, and resolve staffing challenges.
The service has also enabled a new style of employment known as the “avatar worker,” in which individuals can work remotely through an avatar regardless of their physical location.

AvaTraining is a role-play training service that leverages high-quality avatars and generative AI to help users build practical communication and customer service skills.
No dialogue data or prewritten scenarios are required.
Users simply set the role and objectives of the training partner, and the system enables context-appropriate conversational simulations—anytime, anywhere, and as many times as needed.
After each session, AI analyzes not only the dialogue itself but also non-verbal cues such as facial expressions and vocal intonation, automatically generating evaluation feedback. This allows users to clearly understand their strengths and areas for improvement, accelerating practical skill development.
Furthermore, by utilizing performance data such as the number of practice sessions and evaluation scores, organizations can identify individual challenges, track skill progression, and optimize training plans. This minimizes inconsistencies caused by subjective coaching styles and enables the systematic sharing and accumulation of training know-how across teams.
AvaTraining also reduces the workload of managers and trainers who previously spent significant time conducting role-play manually, contributing to overall operational efficiency in training environments.
